Department of Mathematics, Moridhal College was established in 1988. In the same year the secondary level started and general course of undergraduate level was introduced in 1992. The major course was started from 1997. The department got University permission / Affiliation of General Course in the date 21-02-1995 w.e.f. 1993-94 and the major course in the date 26.08.2000 w.e.f. 1997-98. Date of Govt. Concerence of General Course in date 24-07-1995 w.e.f. 1993-1994.

ACTIVITIES OF DEPARTMENT (MATHEMATICS)

besides doing regular classes, the department has also all the practical classes in the stipulated date & time.
The department has arranged seminar and group discussion in time among the students to enhance their mental ability and face the present situation.
Cluster counselling for the students.
The faculty members of the department, also actively involved in different non-scholastic activities of the college.
The faculty members of the department provide special guidance to the students to the advance learners in additional to remedial classes for the poor students.
The faculty members of the department are in regular contact with the students.
For skill development the faculty members, they attain conferences Seminars, Workshops etc. on a regular basis.
Financial assistance to the poor and meritorious student to buy books.
Every year department publish departmental wall magazine “ SIGMA ”.
