Entreprenurship & Placement Cell

An Entrepreneurship and Placement Cell (EPC) at Moridhal College, Moridhal, Dhemaji has been constituted with a President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and three present active members to support the students in both the academic and career concerns and opportunities. With a degree of B.A./ B.Sc., EPC in collaboration with different Cells and Departments of the College attempts to improve the standard of the students and promote the spirit of entrepreneurship among the students by organizing diverse awareness camps, entrepreneurship lectures and seminars/webinars, brainstorming sessions, skill development programs, coaching classes for competitive examinations etc. The EPC is presently providing a balance between guiding the students to go for self-employment and encouraging them for higher education and jobs.
Objectives:

  • To counsel students on developing their personalities
  • To support students in developing new skill sets
  • To facilitate students with notifications related to employment and higher studies
  • To assist students in their career preparation for competitive examinations and employment
  • To maintain entrepreneurship/placement data
Functions of EPC:
  • To assist students in choosing higher educational institutes and prepare for entrance examinations
  • To gather information on job avenues and placements in different institutions and concerns related to the courses that the College/ University offers.
  • To analyze information in the local, regional and national contexts to explore its relevance and utility for the students in their placements and on job-training.
  • To organize seminars and guidance workshops for informing students about the emerging professional trends and events, job profiles, leadership roles, entrepreneurship, market needs and risks and implementation of national socio-economic policies and to impart training in soft skills.
  • To promote discipline, healthy outlook and positive attitudes towards for national integration and removal of narrow provincial preferences and prejudices
